Mlada „Elvisova“ zvezda Ostin Batler i glumica Mišel Jeo odneli su glavne filmske nagrade na svečanoj dodeli Zlatnih globusa u utorak.
Batler (31) proglašen je najboljim glumcem u filmskoj drami za ulogu u kojoj je otelotvorio legendu rokenrola Elvisa Prislija i delovao je preplavljen emocijama što je tu čast prihvatio pred mnogim vrhunskim imenima šoubiznisa.
„U ovoj sam prostoriji sa svim svojim herojima. Ne mogu da verujem da sam ovdje“, rekao je Batler, posebno istakavši Breda Pita i Kventina tarantina.
Mišel Jeo, nagrađena za glavnu ulogu u akcionom filmu „Everything Everywhere All At Once“ u kojem skače u druge dimenzije, izašla je na pozornicu nakon što je prozvano njeno ime i rekla da će „zastati i osetiti ovaj trenutak“.
„Holivud je bio ostvarenje sna dok nisam došla ovde“, dodala je malezijska glumica kineskog porekla, napomenuvši kako su je na početku karijere nazivali „manjinom“ i pitali zna li da govori engleski.
Četrdeset godina kasnije, „bilo je neverovatno putovanje i neverovatna borba biti ovde danas, ali mislim da se isplatilo“, rekla je Jeo.
Što se tiče ovogodišnje manifestacije, vodio ju je komičar Džerod Karmajkl, a protekla je u vidu pobeda filmova „The Banshees of Inisherin“ (nagrada za najbolju komediju ili mjuzikl), „The Fabelmans“ (najbolja drama), dok u u televizijskim kategorijama nagradu za najbolju dramu odneli su „House of Dragon“, a komediju „Abott Elementary“.
Kolin Farel je proglašen za najboljeg glumca u mjuziklu ili komediji za ulogu u „The Banshees of Inisherin“. U ovom filmu je ponovo ujednjen u saradnji sa rediteljem i scenaristom Martinom Mekdonom.

Kolin Farel osvojio je ulogu glavnog glumca u kategoriji filmskog mjuzikla ili komedije za lik Padraika Suileabaina, čoveka koji pokušava da popravi pokvareno prijateljstvo, u mračnoj irskoj komediji „The Banshees of Inisherin“.
Farel je zahvalio svojim kolegama iz filma, uključujući i „magaricu Dženi“.
Među ostalim nagrađenima bila je i glumica Anđela Baset, koja je osvojila nagradu za sporednu žensku ulogu za ulogu kraljice Ramonde u filmu „Black Panther: Wakanda Forever“, nastavku koji je napisan nakon smrti zvezde Čedvika Bozmana.

„Fabelmans“ i „Banshees“ osvojili glavne filmske nagrade
„The Fabelmans“, priča o odrastanju temeljena na tinejdžerskim godinama Stivena Spilberga, proglašena je najboljom filmskom dramom.
„Banshees of Inisherin“, priča o zavađenim prijateljima na irskom ostrvu, osvojila je nagradu za najbolji filmski mjuzikl ili komediju.

Nagrade će verovatno oba filma pogurati u vis na putu do dodele Oskara u martu.
